外媒札记:他们眼中的高尔夫

在高尔夫那天,整个舆论焦点毫无例外地又一次聚集在高尔夫身上,无论是媒体还是论坛版块纷纷表现出了热烈的讨论潮,或褒奖或嘲讽,吵得不可开交。虽然国内外车型在配置、调教、用料、甚至是使用油品都与国内版本后有差别,但不妨听听向来“毒舌”的海外媒体对新一代高尔夫有什么评价。

英国Auto Express:

The latest Volkswagen Golf narrowly lost its position as our favorite family car to the SEAT Leon earlier this year, but it still sets the benchmark for quality, refinement and desirability.

虽然今年早些时候西亚特 Leon取替了大众Golf在我们心目中最受欢迎家庭车的地位,但Golf仍然是一款以高质量,精心制作和符合大众需求为目标打造的掀背车。

 

The seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf has paved the way in the family hatchback class – rivalling the Ford Focus, Vauxhall Astra and Renault Megane. The latest Golf uses Volkswagen’s new MQB platform, which is also shared between the Audi A3, Skoda Octavia and SEAT Leon – it should also form the basis of the next Polo and Passat. The latest Volkswagen Golf Mk7 is nearly 100kg lighter than the old Mk6, while its dimensions are wider and longer, providing more room in the boot and extra passenger space inside. There’s also a slightly lower ride height – it looks and feels a bit sportier.

On perfect roads at reasonable speeds—all we were able to experience on our preview—the new Golf is wonderful to drive. The body feels stiff, the chassis firm, and the steering is as responsive as ever. In other words, VW didn’t screw anything up, creating a new Golf that’s as poised and balanced as the sixth-gen model that was on our 2011 10Best Cars list alongside the GTI.

The Golf, then. One of the few cars that can simply be itself, and one of the few that defines a genre. It’s not ‘Hyundai/Ford/BMW/whoever’s new Golf rival’; instead, it simply is what it is: the epitome of the small family car and the one by which others are judged.

This car’s qualities are not so much easy to overlook as intended to be taken for granted. On material quality, rolling refinement, usability and functional simplicity, the Golf is outstanding. Outright performance, ride and handling, cabin practicality and fuel efficiency may not be exceptional, but come highly commended. The Golf’s desirability endures too, of course.Add competitive pricing and low ownership costs and the armour is complete. Find a chink in it if you can; we certainly can’t. The best hatchback in the world shows no signs of being anything less.

高尔夫的品质绝对不容忽视。无论是机械素质、制作精细度、实用性以及功能便利性高尔夫都是相当出色的。如同级标杆般的性能表现,令人愉悦乘坐和操控体验,实用的空间和高效的燃油性能都出人意表地广受褒奖。当然,高尔夫一贯以来的魅力依旧保持着。再加上具竞争力的价格和较低的使用成本,让新一代的高尔夫几乎无懈可击。你可以尝试去找找它的不足,但那肯定不会是一件容易的事情。这款世界上最出色掀背车的实力没有任何的削弱。

 

英国:Top Gear

With less weight – especially at the nose – plus all-new suspension, the Golf never really dissolves into understeer unless it’s a tight, wet roundabout or some such. Sure, you wouldn’t call it agile, but it’s faithful and actually serves up far more chassis feedback than the supple ride might have you expect. The stability system doesn’t intervene, even if you go up to or a little beyond the limit, but, of course, that means when it does activate, it’s abrupt. The steering is progressive and so clean-acting that you never misplace the car, but I’d choose more weight and definitely more feel, please. There’s a job for those working on the GTI.

尽管高尔夫大幅减磅,尤其在车头位置做文章,并且更换上了全新的悬挂系统,但车系传统的“推头”现象仍然没有的到完全的消解,而这个现象往往会出现在诸如在路面狭小并且湿滑的转折位置。很显然,你不会把这种操控特性归纳为灵活,但却是相当实在地反映了转向的动作,而实及感受上更提供了比预期更为柔韧的底盘反馈。在不断试探甚至有点超越车辆极限的情况下会发现,其实该稳定系统的干预并不算明显。一旦稳定系统的启动后,其反应又会相当突然。渐近的转向以及干脆利落的反应令人印象深刻,但如果要有更多转向力度的回馈以及更直接的转向反应需求,那请选择GTI吧。
